Individual Solutions for Industry 4.0

Reaching into the crate

We have been managing projects for the successful removal of bulk goods from containers and crates since the 1990s. The technology is now considered mature and is already in use in many places. However, “reaching into the crate” also opens up numerous other applications that will make your production more profitable.

Conveyor tracking with intelligent retraction strategy

In the event of a malfunction, Robofunktion ensures that the robot automatically retracts. Thanks to our many years of experience in this field, we are miles ahead of most conventional retraction strategies.

Kollaborative Robots (MRK)

Our employees played a key role in developing the first KUKA human-robot collaboration (HRC) applications with the KUKA KR3. Today, Robofunktion employs several certified HRC and safe robot specialists who carry out safety inspections on robot systems worldwide.

Robofunktion has commissioned the first KUKA Sunrise Cabinet with LBR iiwa for Volkswagen in order to analyze various feasibility options. We have been working with the Sunrise control system and the lightweight robot (LBR) since the beginning and look forward to successfully commissioning your HRC application as well.

The KUKA lightweight robot (LBR) is currently operated using Java-based programming of the Sunrise control system. Robofunktion has the right experts to program the KUKA Sunrise for you. Camera technology (robot vision)

The use of sensor and camera technology in industrial production not only guarantees the productivity of your robotic systems, but also greatly increases the quality of your products. We have developed solutions that ensure compliance with a wide range of parameters in metal processing. Automated inspection of the production quality of weld spots, weld seams, gap dimensions, bolts, folds, and drill holes are just a few of the possible applications we use to detect and eliminate production errors early on in the manufacturing process.

For numerous camera applications, the associated robot program is a Robofunktion development. We have programmed robots from KUKA, FANUC, and ABB with camera systems from VMT, ISRA VISION, COGNEX, KEYENCE, MICRO-EPSILON, MATROX, and many others. Our camera applications are now in use worldwide.

Special Kinematics

Not every robot looks like a conventional robot at first glance. By configuring external axes or special kinematics, Robofunktion can put a customized robot design into operation for you. It doesn’t matter whether these additional axes are provided as standard components by the robot manufacturer or whether your department has created them itself. Robofunktion gets your kinematics up and running quickly and safely and uses an oscilloscope to determine the optimal machine data for your application.
